These PML Nailhead BUICK V8 valve covers are designed for 1953 to 1966 Buick 264, 322, 364, 401 and 425 engines. PML valve covers are heavy duty and feature classic styling. The fins and script are cast-in (not engraved) and are rise over a quarter of an inch above the surface. Much thicker and stiffer than stock, these valve covers will not bend or flex and will make a secure, leak-free seal.

On the powder coat finish, the powder coat is shaved off the top of the fins and script.

These valve covers mount with two bolts per cover, included.

For gaskets, PML designed these Nailhead Buick valve covers to work with stock gaskets.

These covers can work with many applications. Holes to accomodate PCV, oil fill and breathers can be machined if needed in three possible locations. The interior of the casting has three reinforced rings to accomodate machining. An oil cap is also available. PML has a machine shop on-site and can machine holes for $40 per hole. Please call to order machining and let us know the specifications for your hole(s).

Some applications use the valley plate for PCV, oil fill and breathers.
