These valve covers are on sale because of excessive porosity.
Porosity is tiny, pinprick holes casued by mini air bubbles in the casting that show up when a part is polished. Some porosity is normal.
These covers have a lot. Pictures below show examples. There is porosity above the "BUICK" script and on the intake side and corners.
