We will not sell, rent, or release your name, email address, or other information that you give us to process your order. When you place an order, it is handled securely.
For security, the shopping card uses SSL (secure socket layer) so that information is encrypted during the transmission. Our website is verified with Authorize.Net and Trustwave for credit card security.
PML products carry a lifetime limited manufacturer's warranty. Our products have proven to be trouble free since we began making them in 2000. If the pan or cover you receive is determined to have some kind of manufacturing defect (i.e., machining problem, leak due to porosity in pan wall), PML will replace the part.
If you run a cover or pan into a boulder and it cracks or is damaged, well, there's nothing PML can help you with there. Our parts are pretty strong and we've had a report from one customer who drove over his Dodge transmission pan and it was fine. (See Projects, Photos, Feedback.)
If you sell your vehicle with our part installed, we will honor the warranty with the new owner.
Modifying our products voids the warranty.
Our products are designed to fit factory original equipment. However, in some applications, or because of the use of certain factory options and/or after market equipment, there may be clearance or fitment problems between our products and your vehicle components. PML provides dimensions and pictures so you can check your vehicle before ordering.
It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and installer to ensure that there is no contact between the pan and other moving or fixed vehicle components.
PML assumes no liability, expressed or implied, for damage or injury to persons or property.
We strive to be 100% accurate in all we do. If there is an error in the description or price we will do our best to make it right but it will be within our discretion how to handle it.
No information, data, or photographs on this website may be copied, transmitted or otherwise used without our written permission.
In using our website, you are giving us permission to use your information and purchase history for our internal purposes. Your information will not be sold, rented or given to any other organization or company.
We cannot be held liable or responsible for information in other sites accessed through links.
There is a great variation and customizing among vehicles. Information on engines, transmissions, differentials, filters, gaskets, and the like is provided for reference only. Installer should verify fitment based on the individual vehicle.
We accept credit card payment or PayPal for online orders.

The webstore will not process orders with mismatched billing addresses or security codes.
Please provide the "Bill to" address exactly as it appears on your credit card billing statement. During our online real time authorization process the "Bill to" information you provided will be validated against the information on file with your credit card issuing company. This is to help prevent fraud. Also to prevent fraud, our webstore will request the security code on your credit card. This is the three digit value found on the back of MasterCard or Visa or the four digits on the front of AmEx).
You can ship the part to a different address than the billing address. This is a common choice for people since a signature is required on delivery.
Your credit card will not be charged until your order ships.

We process your orders quickly. If you find that you have made an error in your order, please notify us immediately by phone or email. If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to correct it. However if the merchandise has already been shipped, we will be unable to modify any portion of your order.
Providing your contact information (including email address) allows for credit card processing and lets you receive information on your order, such as the UPS tracking number. We do not sell or provide customer addresses to other companies or organizations.
Your order of in-stock merchandise will be shipped in 1-2 business days. UPS Ground shipping is generally 1-5 business days (longer during holidays). Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed on the next business day. If your order cannot be shipped within 30 days of the date of your order, you will be given the option to cancel your order. We will contact you if an item is out of stock. You will receive email notifications as your order is processed.
Shipments to California will be charged applicable California sales tax.
During the checkout process you will be asked to select a shipping method. Charges are based on the shipping address. We use UPS for our shipping. If you need products shipped by another method, please place your order over the phone.

A signature is required on delivery. That means that someone must be there to sign for the package when the UPS person shows up. You can specify a shipping address different than the credit card address so that the parts ships to a convenient location. We require a signature on delivery so that we know our parts are received. Otherwise, UPS will not cover any lost parts. Please see the UPS My Choice program to re-route a shipment or authorize a signature release on a shipment. UPS does charge for this service.
In stock items ship the same day or the next business day. If an item is not in stock, you will be contacted with an estimated ship date.
Most of our products are in stock. If you place an order for an item that is not in stock, we will contact you via phone and/or email. If you have used a credit card, your card will not be charged until the item ships.
Returns or exchanges must be processed within 30 days and carry a 20% restocking fee. Contact (310) 671-4345 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a return or exchange.
You must contact us before returning a product.
Returns must be in new condition. This means it must be exactly the way it was shipped.
All special order sales are final.
If you have received damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped merchandise contact us immediately.
No COD returns will be accepted.
The webstore is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are in the office from 8 am to 4 pm, M-F. If you call on the weekend, leave a message and we will call you back on Monday morning. Or send us an email. We are usually closed between Christmas and New Years and for major holidays such as Thanksgiving or 4th of July.
If you are local to the Los Angeles area and want to come by and get your product, please call in advance so we can make sure we have what you want in stock and we'll listen for your knock at the door. We do not have a store or showroom, but we can show you the products you are interested in if you let us know in advance. We do not get too many visitors (a couple a week), but it's always nice to see folks.
We about a mile east of the 405 Freeway and are near Los Angeles International Airport and have had people come by on their way to and from various locations.
PML does not have a garage so we do not install our pans or covers. There is a mechanic about 3 blocks away we have worked with for years that we can recommend.
Our webstore cannot accept orders for customers outside the US but we are always happy to hear from the international community.
For our international customers, we use PayPal for payment and usually ship via the US Postal Service priority international (6 to 10 business days).
If you are outside the US and wish to order, please email us at email@example.com and let us know what you wish to order. We will get back to you with a shipping estimate and then generate a PayPal invoice.
