These valve covers are on special because of blemishes.
Both covers have very thin rails on the flange in a small area near the corners. The rail or lip in other areas has normal size. This rail or lip helps to hold the gasket in place during installations. There is still plenty of rail left to hold the gasket.
The outside of these covers have slight discoloration in spots and a small amount of porosity.
A custom gasket is included and must be used for a good seal. Mounting bolts are also included.
Holes for PCV and breather can be added for a machining charge. See this PDF for more information: Machining PML valve covers for breather, PCV, and oil fill
For reference, see our regular Chevy Small Block, 1987 to 1998, Center Bolt, CORVETTE Script And Fins, Polish, PML Part Number 11041.
Pictures below show examples of the discolorations and blemishes on these covers.
This special should fit and function like a regular part.
This is sold as-is and cannot be returned.
