These valve covers are on special for cosmetic blemishes.
First, the castings do not have the same coloring. This is because of the metal and temperatures that they were made at. These covers can be painted or powder coated.
Both covers have scratches in the finishes. Mostly the scratches are on the C end of the covers and on the intake manifold side.
One cover, one with the fewer scratches, has extra metal in the script, mostly near the v and the Ch in very rough.
It also has a dark spot 1 inch diameter near the t.
The scratches will probably show through painting or powder coating even though they are not deep. A picture showing an example of the scratches is below. These scratches are all over the valve covers.

New mounting bolts are included.
Holes can be machined for PCV, breather and oil fill. There would be a machining charge for this and it must be ordered over the phone. Link for PDF on PCV and breather holes.
