    This is a new differential design from GM. Ring gear is probably 8.6 to 8.9 inches.

    The classic GM 10 bolt 8.5, 8.6 inch ring gear differential cover found on 1970s to 2021 cars, trucks and SUVs, has a different shape and bolt hole pattern although it looks very similar to this one. See PML part number 6082 for an example of this older GM 10 bolt differential.

    PML designed this cover to work with the factory OEM gasket. The GM AC Delco part number is 8572-1785.

    Inside of PML Diff Cover

    This PML cover has a curved back shaped similar to the factory stock cover. This picture of the inside shows the stock gasket bolted on to verify the bolt hole positions.
