This PML cover fits the GM 8.875 inch (8 7/8") ring gear 12 bolt differential for trucks.

Typical applications include GMC and Chevy trucks and SUVs, ½ and ¾ ton, with 2 or 4 wheel drive, from 1963 to 1991. Some common applications for this rear end cover are:
- C10 & K10, 1967 to 1976
- C20 & K20, 1973 to 1976
- Chevrolet Blazer, 1969 to 1976
- GMC Jimmy, 1969 to 1976
- Suburban 10/1500, 1973 to 1981
- Suburban 20/2500, 1973 to 1991
Verify differential and clearance before ordering. Configurations vary. These trucks and SUVs had several possible differentials.
Vehicles with coil suspension can have a track bar close to the stock differential cover. Vehicles with leaf suspension generally have plenty of space for a larger aftermarket part.
1978 Chevy C10

In a 2009 issue of Classic Trucks magazine, this cover was installed on a 1972 Chevrolet C–10 restoration.
Drain
During servicing, a hole on bottom of PML cover provides quick and easy draining fluid without removing the cover. PML includes a magnetic drain plug with each cover.
Cover also ships with new mounting bolts.
