Installation of this oil pan on a 1965 401 Engine:
Includes Bolts and Plug
Mounting bolts and a magnetic drain plug are included. The drain plug magnet attracts any tiny bits of metal out of the fluid to help keep the vehicle running smoothly. The drain plug has a copper sealing washer.
Natural As Cast Finish
PML makes sand castings. This pan is in the natural cast finish. This finish is a dull, silvery gray color and has a rough texture of sand. Some customers have the oil pan painted or powder coated with a custom color at a local shop. Note that once painted or powder coated the texture will still be noticeable, like an orange peel look and feel. Read about finishes and construction of PML parts.
