Ford OEM Stock Cover and PML M275 Cover
The stock cover is Ford part number LC3Z 4033 D which replaced part number HC3Z 4033 A according to Ford. The shape of the PML cover is similar to the OEM stock cover. This design deflects the differential fluid back on the gears for proper lubrication.

PML would design this differential cover for 2016 and newer Ford trucks with the Dana M275 differential.

The Dana M275 is similar to the Dana M300 in shape, size and number of bolts.
Compare the picture below to your stock differential cover.
Check the area around the fill/level check hole. On the Dana M300, this area looks different.
PML makes a Dana M300 cover and it is Part Number 11158.

This differential cover has 14 bolts. If you have a 12 bolt differential cover, you probably have a Ford Sterling 10.25, 10.5 inch ring gear differential. See PML part number 9513 or PML part number 7086.
If you have a 16 bolt differential cover, see PML part number 11193.

With each cover, PML includes new mounting bolts with washers, plug for fill/level check hole, and a magnetic drain plug.
