PML designed this differential cover for Ford trucks and SUVs with the 10 bolt Ford 8.8 differential. The patterned fins give a custom look and the flat face allows the cover to maintain clearance similar to the stock cover and to provide extra capacity.

This rear end differential cover fits many Ford trucks and SUVs. Vehicle configurations vary so check yours carefully. Some possible applications are:
- Bronco, within in line 6 cylinder 302, 351 engines, 1987 to 1996
- Crown Vics, 1982 to 2005
- Expedition, 1997 to 2001 (watch clearance)
- Explorer, 1991 to 2001
- F–150, 1980 to 2014
- E–150, 1992 to 2014
- Lighting, 1993 to 1995
- Marauder, 2003 to 2004
- Mountaineer, 1997 and newer
- Mustang, 1987-1995 (1996 to 2011 appear to have the same differential)
- Ranger, 4.0 engine, 1989 to 2012
- Mazda B4000, B2300
Always check to verify differential and available space. Configurations vary.
Some models may have the smaller Ford 7.5 differential or the larger For 9.75 differential. Check the dimensions, number of bolts, and shape of the stock cover. Vehicles after 2015 probably have the 12 bolt Ford Super 8.8 differential.
Some models do not have clearance for a larger differential cover. Always check if you have clearance before ordering.
PML makes two designs. This cover has a flat face for clearance. The other PML Ford 8.8 10 bot cover is deeper and round with straight fins.
This Ford differential cover is designed for non-IRS, rear differential on Ford vehicles. Some 4WD F–150 trucks have the 8.8 ring gear differential in the front but enough room for a larger than stock differential cover. For vehicles with IRS, the linkage bolts on to the cover and PML differential covers are not compatible.
Note to Expedition owners: a larger cover may be too deep to clear the track bar that runs behind the differential cover. Using the dimensions, please check your vehicle for clearance before purchasing.

Included With PML Differential Cover
This cover ships with a magnetic drain plug, fill and level check hole plugs and new mounting bolts.
Drain, Fill, Level Check, Optional Temperature Sensor Machining
Drain on the bottom of the differential cover allows for easy fluid changes without the need to remove the cover.
A drain plug with a magnet on the end is included with the cover.
There is a fill hole on top and level check hole on the side at the 3 o'clock position.
Some differentials have a factory fill location on the driveshaft side of the third member. This is more common on older vehicles.
For a temperature sending unit, PML can drill and tap a 1/8 NPT hole on the face of the cover. There is a thick pad on the inside to provide material for machining. This is optional and there is a machining charge.
