This set of valve covers are on special becasue of cosmetic blemishes.
The first cover, the top cover in the picture, has three discolorations on one end. These discolorations are about 5/8 inch diameter. There is another discoloration spot on the other end. And a scrape on the intake manifold side. The scrape is about 1 1/2 inches long.
The other cover, the bottom cover in the picture, has some extra rough finish in the casting near the TE on top. There is also a large discoloration spot on both the intake and exhaust sides. Both spots are about 1 inch long. There is a standard amount of porosity and roughness near the bolt holes.
Some porosity and roughness near bolt holes is normal. Pictures included for reference.
A gasket is available. Cork composite gaskets are recommend with these PML valve covers.
New mounting bolts are included.
