This transmission pan is on special because there is porosity in the drain hole. The porosity is small holes visible in the threaded area. There is still plenty of threads for the drain plug to seal securely.
The pan has some normal sand casting rough areas.
A magnetic drain plug and new mounting bolts are included.
For reference, see our regular GM Turbo 400 Deep Transmission Pan, PML Part Number 9683.
This special should fit and function like a regular part.

For reference, here is a picture of the magnetic drain plug
plug included with the pan. It uses a 5/16 allen wrench (not included) to be installed.
The threads are 3/8 NPT. We recommend using a little
pipe dope or plumber's tape.
On this part, here is an example of the sand cast finish.
There is a rough area of aluminum visible. This is not a problem and normal.
